A lot of people seem to think that Sweetone is a good choice. I've also been wondering about Generations. Some people like them, some seem to hate them. Can I ask (without a flame war  ) what is wrong with them?

All, I have finally decided to take the plunge. I've been under influence of other people who are trying very hard to get me to buy a whistle. So, here I go! But I want some advice about which to buy. I would like it to be quiet. That is somewhat optional, but I don't want loud. I would like to star...

Hi folks, I have been lingering here for a while now, and though your converstions about whistles have enlightened me greatly, I am still majorly confused about one thing - whistle keys. Obviously, there are many different keys in which whistles are made. But if I want to play the the key of D, do I...

I was looking at some of the Gemeinhardt flutes on their brochure I downloaded. What model is yours? (if you dont mine me asking)
No problem. It's a 2SH. There's a part number on it, too, but I don't think you wanted that.
Of course, tell me if you do.

Lifeforms Actually, though it's not a lot, I get my intermediate Gemeinhardt for around $430. Everyone else has been pointing you to Yamaha, mostly, and yes, that is a very good quality flute. I think (even though I've never played one, just from the great things taht people have told me about it) i...

Yeah, they're pretty neat. I've never tried one, nor seen one except in pictures, but I think that it would be a little handy. It would look kind of goofy... I don't know who makes it, either, but I have seen it on a site somewhere before.
